A little history…
It was a big decision for such a small person, but when Emma James decided to set up tasty marketing, the business community didn’t know what was about to hit them. Starting in her living room, Emma began working with SMEs across Dorset and Hampshire. Before long, other companies wanted to meet with her – tasty marketing was really taking off.
Interviewing her first member of staff in the infamous living room, Emma found the perfect first employee in Eleanor Storey. Eleanor’s personality and experience matched the ethos of tasty marketing to a T, she’s friendly, capable and creative (and she could keep up with Emma’s fast talking).
Fast forward a few months and tasty marketing was so big that they needed to move to an office. The eP on The Arts University College Bournemouth campus was perfect. The eP is a hive of activity, and the tasty marketing team can often be found wandering the corridors popping in to see their neighbours.
The team of two felt ready to welcome a third member to their team, so a search began for the next Tasty bird. When Emily Kerby walked into the office for her interview, some might say it was love at first sight – her attitude, her design skills and even her name fitted the bill. Just a week later the team of three was completed.
After Emily’s arrival to the team, Kevin Hall joined just over a year later, shortly followed by Laura Culshaw who joined in March 2010. Laura was fresh from college and presented new exciting skills and ideas to the company and so was taken on as an apprentice. After studying for her NVQ in Business and Administration, her organisation skills shone through and she is now set to take over the events at tasty marketing.
In June 2010 tasty marketing moved to Didcot Road on the Nuffield Industrial Estate in Poole, to larger premises so they could accommodate their ever long list of clients.
Emma, Eleanor and Emily have been busy working with businesses of all sizes across Dorset, and look forward to meeting and working with many more in the future.
